I just found out nasal decongestant is addictive. It actually makes things worse over time and it works less and less forcing you to use it more and more.
This explains SO much. I’ve been grabbing that thing like a drug for the past week. Taking it, sometimes, every 5 hours! And you are supposed to not exceed 2 sprays per day and you aren’t suppose to use it for more than 3 consecutive days! And here I was taking up to 5 sprays a day and I did it for a week! I noticed that my nose started to get better and then felt a lot worse after I had been using the spray for awhile. And this morning Gene had a bloody nose and he has been using it only slightly less than me.
Needless to say I don’t think I will be using it that much anymore.
